How pricing works

Two fees. Nothing hiding behind them.

No platform surcharge that shows up mid-quote. No usage meter. No add-on you discover in contracting. Your Visdum agreement has exactly two lines.

1
Subscription — your recurring license. Support, hosting, and your integrations are folded in. Billed per payee.
2
Professional services — a one-time fee to configure your plans, wire up your systems, and validate every calculation before go-live.
That's the whole invoice. What moves the subscription is your plan and process complexity — never your deal volume, transaction count, or API usage.

Your number tracks your plan complexity, integrations, and payee count — so a public price would be wrong for most teams. We scope an exact, all-in figure with you on a 30-minute call.

Your number depends on your setup

Plan count, process complexity, and integrations set the price — never your deal volume, transactions, or API usage. We scope it precisely and hand you an exact, all-in figure, with the per-payee rate dropping as you scale.

Disputes, basically gone

"Without an automation tool, calculating our complex commission scheme at month-end led to inaccuracies and disputes with sales.

Now it's fully automated. Disputes are rare, the team has full transparency into what they've earned, and finance is freed up to focus on FP&A instead of running calculations."

Live two weeks before payroll

"The transparency of the system and its elegant design helped us move forward easily. I understood Visdum right away and implemented it quickly.

The reps got access two weeks before payroll. No training. They approved their statements."

~50 sheets → one source of truth

"We had almost 50 comp plans running in Google Sheets.

Visdum became our single source of truth for compensation data, a system of record like a CRM but for comp, so we could scale and run more complex plans with precision instead of rebuilding spreadsheets."

The fastest go-live in the category — and the support to keep it that way

Your plans are configured and validated by our own team, not a third-party integrator. After launch you get a named point of contact instead of a ticket queue, plus hands-on enablement so your admins actually run it well. You go live fast, and you stay unstuck.

Pricing questions, answered straight

The things our buyers ask
before signing

How is Visdum priced?
Two fees, nothing else. A recurring subscription (your license, with support, hosting, and integrations included) billed per payee, and a one-time professional services fee to configure and validate your plans. There is no separate platform fee and no usage-based charge.
Why isn't there a price on this page?
Because the subscription scales with how complex your comp plans, processes, and integrations are — so a single public number would be wrong for most teams, high or low. Rather than post a figure you'd have to second-guess, we scope an exact, all-in number with you on a 30-minute call, so you never anchor to a price that doesn't reflect your setup.
What actually changes my subscription price?
Three things: the number of comp plans you run, the complexity of your process (accelerators, clawbacks, splits, approvals), and the integrations you need. More moving parts, more configuration — that's the whole story.
What never changes my price?
Your deal volume, transaction count, and API usage — none of it affects what you pay. You're billed per payee, full stop. Grow your bookings 10× and your Visdum bill doesn't move because of it.
Who counts as a billable payee — do admins and managers?
A payee is someone who receives commission. Admins, approvers, and managers who only view or approve don't count toward your billable seats. So estimate on the people you actually pay — not your whole org.
When does billing start — do I pay during implementation?
Your subscription starts at requirements sign-off, not the day you sign. You're not paying full freight for seats while we're still configuring your plans. For larger teams, licenses can be added as you onboard users rather than all at once.
What does the one-time configuration fee cover, and how long does it take?
It covers building your plans in Visdum, connecting your CRM/payroll/ERP, and validating every calculation against your numbers before go-live — handled by our in-house team, not a third-party SI. On G2's Summer 2026 report, our average go-live is 0.65 months, against a 3.5-month category average. Scope only grows if your plan count, data sources, or custom reporting do.
What does support look like after go-live?
A named customer success contact who knows your setup — not a ticket queue — plus ongoing enablement for your admins. It's why mid-market teams rated us Best Relationship on G2. Whether you're revising a plan mid-year or rolling out a new comp structure, you have a person on it, not a form.
What happens to pricing at renewal?
Any annual increase is capped and written into your contract — no open-ended, at-our-discretion jumps. Multi-year terms lock your rate so finance can budget with certainty. [Confirm exact cap, e.g. CPI+X% or X% max, before publishing.]
What if Visdum can't model our specific plan?
Then you'll know before you pay. We'll build your hardest plan as a free proof of concept on your real data, so fit is proven — not promised — up front. Start a POC →
